Keep and eye on the status meters in the top left.

Click on the bed to encourage your dog to nap, and decrease sleepiness.

Click on the toys to play with your dog, and decrease boredom.

Click on the food bowl to feed your dog, and decrease hunger.

Make sure you don't neglect your canine friend by letting any of the meters fill up.
